COROMANDEL TOWN AND SURROUNDING AREA: A SUGGESTED ITINERARY
As we regularly get asked about things to do around town and the peninsula, we thought we'd post a blog with a suggested itinerary. To truly appreciate your time on the peninsula and to take things a bit easier on yourself, we always suggest a minimum stay of 3 or 4 nights. You'll see why when you read the itinerary! We are happy to help reserve any of these activities for you. Ann-Marie has to put her legal hat on now and add the disclaimer that our rates only include your accommodation and breakfast in the B&B. Anything extra as suggested in the itinerary is not included, unless we've indicated that it is. Phew!
Here's a sample of a suggest 3 night/4 day itinerary.
Day 1
Arrive at Karamana Homestead (check-in between 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm).
Relax at the homestead or enjoy Coromandel Town at leisure with many options for a wonderful meal in town.
Day 2
Start the day with a Hot Rocks Adventures tour (Talk of the Town walking tour or try your hand at Wild Gold Panning http://www.hotrocksadventures.com/). In the afternoon, take a short drive to the stunning Whangapoua and New Chums beaches (only 20 minutes from the homestead). We have beach towels ready and available for you to use.
Day 3
